There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 COR 10:13
This week I found it hard to post, I was busy with work and by the time I came home I was dog tired.Even when I woke in the morning I was still so fatigued, I was tempted to just give up because I couldn’t seem to find time to write.
Some of you may be tempted to give up your dreams because other things are becoming overwhelming and your dream doesn’t look as bright as it use too. God always makes a way of escape if he has given you the mind to start your dream, he will give you the mind to finish it. He knows your limits and what you can handle, you are strong! We just have to set aside a few things weighing us down.
Unfortunately, I can’t lay aside my job because I want to write but he does give me strength and the mindset to avoid other temptations and prioritize my weeks. He wouldn’t keep my mind full of ideas if he didn’t provide me with the right tools. He wouldn’t place a marvelous idea in your head if he knew it wouldn’t manifest. All God is doing is raising the bar because he knows your potential, sometimes the biggest accomplishments blossom under pressure.
This week know that your dreams will manifest in due time, keep working hard at it and stay positive. Great things arise in positive atmospheres.
Have A Great Week!
I love juicing so much I have decided to do a challenge. Many people are probably familiar with the Total Juicing book by Elaine LaLanne it has over 125 healthful ways to use fresh fruit and vegetables. In this book, they talk about the many benefits juicing has for your health. Since I have a Chronic Illness I am always looking for ways to keep me motivated to staying healthy during my journey.
I have decided to create a challenge, it’s not a 30-day challenge or 60-day challenge. It is a challenge to make all the juices provided in this book (Over 125). I will be doing the following:
- Posting (2) juices a week
- Taking pictures of how my juice turned out
- Giving you my honest opinion of the taste
- Providing information on its benefits.
I hope by doing this, you may at least try one that will help you or a family member and improve your/their quality of life. Be on the look out for (2) post each week!
See you Soon!
I was driving home from work a few nights ago and was thinking to myself about how sometimes we may feel like we are getting tugged back and forth. We are getting tossed and torn because it’s a battle going on for us. We could be in a wonderful place in our lives and within seconds get torn down and back into a slump.
Remember when you were a kid and you had this special toy that you really admired. Think how you felt when your older or younger sibling or cousin began to play with it. You would step us against them and begin to play a game of tug of war and you may say “It’s mine or I had it first. I began to wonder if that’s how God feels about us.
God created us in his image, we all were his first since birth. Since we were born in sin it immediately became a game of tug of war. God has this plan to prosper you and not to harm you when satan has the plan to deceive you and destroy you.
There are so many things happening in our lives right now that we are feeling torn and worn out and ready to throw in the towel because of the tugging is greater than we ever imagined it would be. The enemy wants to hold onto you like a leech for as long as he can because if he let’s go he knows what’s at stake. You know those cops that get into blind spots and hurry up and cut off their lights so they can catch you when you least expect it. That’s just like your enemy, he wants to hide in the dark and catch you slipping.
Where there is evil there is good, sorrow there is joy, pain there is a comfort, the enemy there is God and he is fighting for you much more than the enemy is because he knows the plans he has for you, he knows your potential, nothing good can come from evil. He knows that if you surrendered all how much he can do in your life, but he is aware that the enemy is on his job as well. So he tugs even harder because he is jealous for you!
Life’s challenges won’t stop, but God provides you with tools to help you get through them. He wants you all to himself, just like you wanted your favorite toy all to yourself. You are his favorite so if you can feel the tug know that God is fighting for you. He doesn’t want to see you give up, he doesn’t want you to feel alone. He’s saying “I’m right here, my child”. The voice is there, you just have to listen and let him guide you on the right path.
Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.8 Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.12 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
It’s not easy being a Christian and if anyone says it is I want to see their resume of life. Growing up as a kid I was always told you can’t be lukewarm so either I was out in the world or I was in the church. If I am going to be out in the world then I would be all in and vice versa.
When I was partying, I would take it to the max because I didn’t want to just dabble in it. I was going to be all in “life of the party” and turning it all the way up until I passed out. All that time God was still in the back of my head, but I left him there. We all fall short of the glory of God because life happens “Our Enemies” get the best of us and our biggest enemy is ourselves.
When I finally found myself again it was like running back home. I always knew where I belonged, I just never fully wanted to accept it. I can’t count on my fingers how many times I felt short, but that’s the best part about it God forgives and that’s all that matters. I don’t even want God to forget because I want him to keep showing where I came from. Now that I’m here it’s a fight to stay in this place. My mind wants to tell me to just throw in the towel and place fear back within me. I can’t this time I’ve come too far, so I continue to ask for guidance. God hears the prayers I cry at night because I don’t want to go backward.
It won’t be easy people but fight! put your best foot forward and if it comes to it drag to the finish line. Continue to ask for guidance, pray and fast because the enemy wants to attack you. Don’t give in and don’t give up continue to glorify him and stay joyful and spread the love that God shine through you. God will protect you.
Natural Calm is a magnesium supplement that comes in powder form it is known as their “Anti-Stress Drink”. This supplement will restore healthy magnesium levels and is also vegan approved. So why do we need magnesium? We need magnesium to stay healthy because it helps regulate a lot of our bodies function including; muscles, nerves, blood, bones etc.
I looked up signs of low magnesium levels and you will be shocked after this especially if you are always having these symptoms; muscle cramps, facial tics, poor sleep, and chronic pain. Since I have Rheumatoid Arthritis/Fibromyalgia chronic pain was a big one for me, it’s crazy how such little things that we ignore cause such huge problems. I encourage you to learn all signs and symptoms of low magnesium so that you can stay on top of it.
Okay so to the good stuff, is Natural Calm worth the hype? Yes it is I, noticed a big change after taking only 1 teaspoon for about 3 days. On the 3rd day, I actually slept like a baby. I was having insomnia for about 2 months and going to bed at 1:00 AM, with Natural Calm I found it hard to stay awake once 9:30 pm hit I just felt at peace. It not only helped my sleeping and anxiety but also in the bathroom department.
Since I have Rheumatoid Arthritis I sometimes go up to 7 days without going to the bathroom. This is never good for anyone, but with the right eating plan, it has improved. With calm, I notice I was going to the restroom more than once a day.
This has never happened to me before so I was very surprised because it helped me feel less bloated. ****Please keep this in mind, I had to learn for myself do not overdue the serving amount or you will be using the bathroom all day! It was not fun at all I was lucky to be off that day 🙂 ***
I received the Natural calm in the flavor raspberry-lemon, at first I was nervous because it was fizzing so much, once it had calmed down I was at ease. I drank my supplement hot it was soothing and reminded me of some nice hot tea. I also added a slice of lemon for taste. I am all for this supplement and will continue to buy it. This is truly an awesome supplement that everyone should keep on hand especially if you have a chronic illness, diabetes, heart problems and more.
We only get one body, but we do get several chances to get things right. Let’s invest in ourselves because our bodies deserve the very best.

Fear, You have no place here
Fear is a big overtaker in our lives it destroys our dreams and potentials. It disables us from doing great things in this world that were meant to be. Fear has been with us since little toddlers afraid to see momma or daddy go, afraid to be bold..afraid afraid afraid!
Let me tell you this thing today, the enemy wants to keep you in fear. The devil has a way of doing things backwards because he wants you to keep going backwards.
Devil wants you to have fear which holds you bound and God wants you to be raef which is to excel in everything just by being yourself. Fear spelled backwards is raef, see what I’m saying.
Once you identify the fear slowly try to overcome it, this won’t be easy but it is always worth it. Fear has no place living in you so tell it and its supplier to kick rock. You have the victory!
Achieving Stability & Productivity
I want to brush on psalm 1:3 this week because it’s something that we all can use to continue to grow. Now in psalm 1:3 it talks about a tree that’s planted, so this means this tree started out as a seed, developed roots and began to blossom into a tree that later on became fruitful. Now this tree couldn’t grow without the proper necessities it needed water to maintain it’s growth which was provided by the river.
This tree was special to me because the water never ran dry, it had a constant flow of water because it was so close to the supplier. The tree became stronger every day and produced fruit that was heaven sent. For us to achieve this stability and productivity just like this tree we must stay close to our supplier. We can’t stray too far from it or our fruitfulness will begin to wither away. God is our connection to becoming stable, and once we become stable we will begin to see things prosper. The day you were born God planted a seed in you, he is just waiting for you to find your way to stability so he can begin a mighty work in you.
Brush up on your word daily ( continue to water your tree), do what you know to do to stay close to him and watch your tree grow. The Bible says “whatever he/she does shall prosper”.
