Day 1 of 31

My Goals..Um Let me think????

I can never figure out why I become silent when someone puts me on the spot and ask ” Shawna what are your goals?”. Am I the only one who gets lost for words, I mean of course I, know what I want to do…I think. This use to be me every time someone asked me a question about my goals.

Within my 29 years of living I did CNA and LVN training, received my A.A in Business administration and A.A in Medical Administration. I am not working in either of these fields because they are not what I desire and my heart is just not in it. I feel like I was just following what everyone else was into, but that really wasn’t my dream.

My goals are to be able to write and inspire others, to be a help to those in need, to set an example to young girls and empower them. I have to start somewhere, this has been a long time coming.

My Goals for the Month of October are:

1.Write as much as I can: I want to make an effort everyday to write at least one thing on my blog. I want to get use to doing this, because I want to make it a lifetime desire.

2.Read my Bible :reading my bible keeps me grounded, I don’t want to get side track. So taking time out of my day to get back in the habit of reading my bible.

3. Get involved: I just signed up to be a girls scout troop leader, this will allow me to get involved in my daughters lives and other young girls lives too. I want to make sure I am prepared by planning out the whole year of activities for 2017 that inspire them. Help them figure out who they are.

Have you ever felt chills running down through your body whenever you think or do something positive  that you know was meant to be. That’s the feeling I have when I write, no I am not the best writer and I will make mistake along the way. But October from me is about GROWING..

So, to end day 1 and summarize my goal for October in one word is : G.R.O.W.

Be helpers to one another

I am a Christian Young Lady, who happens to deal with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. I want to make one thing clear I no longer take my meds but, my body is not healed from this illness but in remission with the Grace of God. My mind is healed and I don't have the same thinking toward my illness. I believe I, can be in remission for how long as I want if I take care of my body. I want to help spread Gods goodness and to also help ease chronic illness pain by fueling your body with healthy foods and good exercise. Everyone has their own pace with chronic illness, but I am here for you to support you with the help of God.
