Just For Today: Dreams Take Time

The past few weeks, I’ve allowed myself to pile my mind up with so many ideas that I was beginning to lose myself in all the clutter. I want to do this… I want to do that… my mind was non-stop with wonderful ideas. I began to feel this feeling of uneasiness and overwhelm so I had to take a few steps back and look at my mindset and start to communicate more with God. I began to talk out loud saying ” God, this can’t be right I’m feeling overwhelmed and way too anxious”. The answered I got back was an eye opener for me ” Just because you are following me, doesn’t make you superwoman”. Why would I think I could take on so many things at once. Now I know.

Dreams take time and they can only be accomplished one day at a time. There’s no need to try and pack all your dreams into a month or year. As long as you are making progress each and every day you are one day closer. Sometimes we just have to take in the learning process and enjoy the journey, because if we are piling our plates with too much stuff we might miss a value lesson or a blessing.

I say this to encourage anyone who is on a journey to fulfilling their dreams and are feeling overwhelmed never be afraid to go back to the basic and center your focus. When your mind is focused beautiful things are birthed, so take one step at a time. Gather a few goals and complete those before moving to the next. Beautiful things take time to blossom and as long as you continue to nurture it, it will continue to grow.

Teamwork:Working Together

I had this post about seed sowing written up and ready to go, and as I began to transfer it over onto the computer I got turned into another direction the words “teamwork” just wouldn’t leave me alone. I began to ask God why teamwork, and what is it that you want me to write about.  Well, in 1 Corinthians 3:6 it says ”  I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

I immediately fell in love with this scripture because it involved teamwork like the saying goes there is no “I” in “team”. If teamwork makes the dream work, then why lack the possibility of coming together. I began to think of how I use to be always trying to do things on my own when God provides others’ and himself to assist us. Why don’t we use the tools that are handed to us? Is it because our pride gets in the way or is it because we want to get all the praise for ourselves. Well, whatever the case maybe I know for sure two heads are better than one. When two or more people can come together and be effective amazing things will unfold in relationships, businesses and in ministry.

We all have a purpose in life and we want to see our purpose fulfilled. If we work hard we can make it, but when we fall who is there to help catch you because let’s face it no one is perfect and we all need help in some area of our life. Even the smartest person in the world needs help to make his/her dream happen. We can’t continue to let ourselves get in the way or it will pull us down and keep us there.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:11, it reminds us to be helpers to one another, not be helpers to whom you choose. We have to look at things in God’s view and remove our blinders that are hindering us and see things God’s way. Every industry needs a team, every dream needs someone to back them up. So when God send a person your way, don’t turn them away. Pray about it and you never know it may be the support you needed.

Meditation of the Week

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 COR 10:13

This week I found it hard to post, I was busy with work and by the time I came home I was dog tired.Even when I woke in the morning I was still so fatigued, I was tempted to just give up because I couldn’t seem to find time to write.

Some of you may be tempted to give up your dreams because other things are becoming overwhelming and your dream doesn’t look as bright as it use too. God always makes a way of escape if he has given you the mind to start your dream, he will give you the mind to finish it. He knows your limits and what you can handle, you are strong! We just have to set aside a few things weighing us down.

Unfortunately, I can’t lay aside my job because I want to write but he does give me strength and the mindset to avoid other temptations and prioritize my weeks. He wouldn’t keep my mind full of ideas if he didn’t provide me with the right tools. He wouldn’t place a marvelous idea in your head if he knew it wouldn’t manifest. All God is doing is raising the bar because he knows your potential, sometimes the biggest accomplishments blossom under pressure.

This week know that your dreams will manifest in due time, keep working hard at it and stay positive. Great things arise in positive atmospheres.

Have A Great Week!

Leave a Print

There is always someone in the world that needs to be inspired, encouraged or helped in other ways. So, that means a job in this field will always be open. The reasons we go through things in life and make it through are not just for the up building of our faith but for others as well. So when we are blessed we try to be blessings to others. I don’t know your calling but you do, and with that calling change the world. Become great at what you do and put forth all your blood, sweat, and tears into it.

When you leave this earth and everytime someone mentions your name, they should smile and have a good report. They should be able to keep your legacy alive because God saw fit to give you a gift that would change minds, hearts, and souls of many. Reach deep down into your inner self, find what you love and blossom.

As you go through this week think on this:

Are you doing something that is going to leave a special print in the lives of many people?

Meditation of the Week

Is Your Purpose Aligned with Your Destination

Each of us is given a purpose to fulfill in this world. None of us have the same talent because we were all made differently. We may have the same goals, but our purpose in life is assigned differently to each and every one of us. God had a purpose when he created each of us, he put all his heart and soul to little us to bring back something special. destination-2Sometimes it takes a while to find what our purpose in life is with all the detours we journey on, but deep down within our hearts crave something more. Something that we can pour our hearts into, something that we can give our all too, something that’s going to make us feel so exciting that it’s going to overflow and you just can’t keep it to yourself.

That’s when you know your purpose is about to create your destiny. Everything will start to fall in place when you are on the right track. Doors that you thought were closed will now become open because you are now walking in your purpose to your destination. There is always a reason why God gave you a certain purpose, it’s because he believes you can do it. He knows your future and he knows what you are able to do, he wants to see you reach your destination but first, you must fulfill your purpose.
