Meditation of the Week

Achieving Stability & Productivity

I want to brush on psalm 1:3  this week because it’s something that we all can use to continue to grow. Now in psalm 1:3 it talks about a tree that’s planted, so this means this tree started out as a seed, developed roots and began to blossom into a tree that later on became fruitful. Now this tree couldn’t grow without the proper necessities it needed water to maintain it’s growth which was provided by the river.

This tree was special to me because the water never ran dry, it had a constant flow of water because it was so close to the supplier.  The tree became stronger every day and produced fruit that was heaven sent. For us to achieve this stability and productivity just like this tree we must stay close to our supplier. We can’t stray too far from it or our fruitfulness will begin to wither away. God is our connection to becoming stable, and once we become stable we will begin to see things prosper. The day you were born God planted a seed in you, he is just waiting for you to find your way to stability so he can begin a mighty work in you.

Brush up on your word daily ( continue to water your tree), do what you know to do to stay close to him and watch your tree grow. The Bible says “whatever he/she does shall prosper”.

The Shift, do you feel it too?

Hey Beautiful People!!!

People are always quoting “It’s a New Season” people want to see harvest come about from what they have sowed into their lives. People sow into what they want to grow with all their might and faith knowing that one day, month or year that it will come to pass.

There is something so great about 2017. I believe this is the year everything you have been trying to complete for years us about to happen if you are focused. For some reason, I have this feeling of wholeness, like God is just doing new things. For insecurity, anxiety, past issues from years ago, marriages, friendships on and on. We must keep our faith and believe it shall come to pass.

This year is the year where faith should become even stronger. It is really a new season to be blessed. Things are shifting so prepare yourself for good things

Have a blessed Night 🙂

Always, Shawna

Dear Younger Me

Dear Shawna,

Tomorrow you will be 30 years old. Happy Birthday! You have been on this earth for 30 years and in that time you have seen and done a lot. Out of everything you have grown. You have many disappointing things happen and hurt people along the way, you had happy moments and times that made you cry. You got a chance to grow up with wonderful parents and brothers and sisters that mean everything to you. Even through you had trying times you still always knew were to run for help, even though you never fully gave in.

You had a big life changing event that happen when you were 18, but even though it caused lots of pain it made you who you are now. It made you faithful just like he was. And made you realize your mother could have passed when she had leukemia but God spared her life, not knowing she would be the parent to watch me grow into I am today.

God always has a plan, you brought into the world to amazing little girls that love God. No matter the age you had them they were still a blessing from God. You are blessed to have their father around to let them see what it is like to have to parents. Everyday isnt like sprinkles and pretty flowers, but you stay faithful.

You developed an illness early in life that caused you to miss out in life, but you only miss out on what you think you have missed out on. As long as you are alive you have the power to do anything you want to do and be all you can be.

As 30 begins live and let God control every minute of your life, dont live in regrets live in possibilities. Never let your past determine your future, dont be afraid to enjoy life and dont be afraid to fall. Always get up and walk in faith

May God Bless you with many more years!

30 year old Shawna! Smooches
