Separate the Wheat from the Chaff
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Every road has a different path; left, right, narrow and wide. Not every path creates growth, some paths weigh you down and stunt your growth. Many of us are living lives that eat away at our happiness because we chose our own paths without carefully thinking where it would lead us. I am talking about two paths; positive and negative.
Are we living a life deeply rooted in a positive atmosphere filled with love and happiness and being watered daily so that we are able to prosper and be successful at everything we do? Or are we living a negative life that causes us to build hate in our hearts, where nothing has the chance to grow? Sometimes in our lives we need to separate the wheat from the chaff, there are a lot of dead things that we are holding on too that we need to let go. We can’t keep digging up and planting the same thing if it’s not producing fruit. We must let it go and plant something that is going to be of good service in our lives that is deeply rooted and shall prosper bringing forth great things.
Remember: Don’t give power to something or someone who isn’t worth it.
Are you living a positive life?
